Compensation:

We offer market competitive compensation. Starting pay is $19 per hour with Career Laddering opportunities. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

About the role

The Warehouse Team Member is responsible for supporting the Breezeway and Warehouse needs at our South Plainfield, NJ facility.

Responsibilities

Scan, box and label product that has been approved by Quality; perform transactions in ERP system.

Create boxes for packaging product.

Move packaged product from Breezeway to Finished Goods Warehouse.

Ensure manufacturing has proper materials and supplies required for molding and assembly.

Load and unload trucks, verifying items received and/or shipped.

Remove scrap bins from manufacturing floor.

Drives the company truck between 6 Century Road location and Tool Room location.

Obtain and maintain forklift certification.

Drives the forklift and pallet jack.

Actively support organizational goals and objectives.

Participate in team projects.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Good communication skills

Able to understand, follow verbal and written instruction in basic English

Education:

HS diploma, GED or equivalent

Physical

Requirements

Frequent lifting up to 50 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 75 pounds.

Able to lift 25 lbs. to a height of 6 feet.

Long periods of standing, walking, bending, twisting, and turning.

Moderate amounts of overhead lifting.

Frequent amounts of finger dexterity and significant use of hands.

Ability to climb and work on ladders. Must be able to perform work above shoulder height.

Must be able to wear required PPE including but not limited to safety shoes.

Must be able to work and keep up with the fast pace environment and complete duties in a timely and accurate manner

Work requires standing and walking for prolonged periods of time and frequent bending, stooping, squatting, stretching, pushing, pulling, and reaching.

Significant amounts of bending, lifting, twisting, standing, sitting, pushing, pulling, stacking, and significant use of hands.

Conditions and Environment:

The Warehouse Team Member responsibilities are performed in the Breezeway & in the warehouse of a manufacturing plant that can be hot in summer, cold in winter, hazardous, noisy, and dusty. The worker may be subject to:

Inside environmental conditions: Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature change

Noise: Sufficient noise to cause a worker to shout in order to be heard above ambient noise

Vibration: Exposure to oscillating movements of the extremities or whole body

Hazards: A variety of physical conditions such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals
