Service Area / Base Location: Kent, WA & Surrounding Puget Sound Region
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
Pay: $22.00 – $42.00 / hour (Based on Experience) + 6-Month Skill-Based Pay Reviews

KeyResponsibilities
- Mobile Field Services: Travel to customer sites and local depots throughout the region to perform scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- DOT Inspections: Conduct on-site federal DOT safety inspections and compliance audits on ISO tanks, commercial trailers, and tanker trailers.
- Brake & Suspension Systems: Diagnose and repair air brake systems, ABS, wheel ends, and air/mechanical suspensions in the field.
- Tank & System Repairs: Perform pressure tests, valve servicing, gasket replacements, and mechanical diagnostics on liquid/chemical tank trailers.
- On-Site Welding (Optional): Perform minor field repairs using TIG welding on aluminum, stainless steel, or carbon components when needed.
Qualifications &Requirements
- Experience: 2–5+ years of experience in mobile service, heavy truck, trailer, or tank container repair.
- Certifications: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record. Active DOT Inspection Certification preferred. (HM183 certification preferred; training available).
- Technical
Skills
Strong diagnostic capabilities in air brakes, 12V electrical systems, suspension systems, and general trailer mechanics. - Physical & Technical Capabilities: Comfortable working outdoors in field conditions, climbing trailer ladders, clearing tank manholes, and working in confined spaces. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly (75 lbs with assistance).
- Optional: Field TIG welding capabilities (aluminum/stainless).
