This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Network Integration Engineer based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to lead technology integration and modernization initiatives across a growing global organization.

You will play a central role in infrastructure assessments, migration planning, and execution supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and enterprise transformation.

The position combines hands-on networking and systems expertise with project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving.

You will assess complex technology environments, identify risks and modernization opportunities, and guide transitions toward enterprise-standard platforms.

The role spans networking, cloud, Microsoft infrastructure, security, end-user enablement, and business continuity.

You will work closely with business leaders, technical teams, vendors, and acquired organizations in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

Accountabilities

  • Lead technology integration projects supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, office consolidations, tenant migrations, and enterprise transformation initiatives.
  • Assess infrastructure, applications, security posture, technical debt, compliance gaps, and operational readiness within acquired or transitioning organizations.
  • Perform technical due diligence and identify modernization opportunities, risks, and remediation priorities.
  • Develop and execute integration and migration strategies aligned with enterprise technology standards.
  • Design, implement, troubleshoot, and support LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN, cloud connectivity, switches, routers, firewalls, and related network infrastructure.
  • Maintain secure network architectures and support infrastructure lifecycle management.
  • Create and maintain network diagrams, technical documentation, inventories, and other engineering artifacts.
  • Deploy, administer, and optimize Windows Server environments and supporting infrastructure services.
  • Support Active Directory, Group Policy, identity management, virtualization, Microsoft 365, and enterprise applications.
  • Plan and execute server, application, endpoint, and tenant migrations.
  • Drive cloud transformation initiatives using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Support disaster recovery, backup, business continuity, infrastructure security, and remediation activities.
  • Conduct site assessments and technology readiness evaluations.
  • Lead user onboarding, migration, and technology adoption activities while minimizing operational disruption.
  • Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and support to internal teams, business partners, and end users.
  • Coordinate with business leaders, vendors, and distributed technical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Requirements

    • 8+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise infrastructure environments.
    • Strong networking expertise covering TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, and network security.
    • Extensive experience with Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Azure, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
    • Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V.
    • Familiarity with monitoring and observability platforms such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Nagios, or comparable tools.
    • Experience with cloud migration, tenant consolidation, infrastructure modernization, or M&A technology integration is highly desirable.
    • Strong project leadership, organizational, prioritization, and execution skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives in fast-paced environments.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
    • Experience collaborating across distributed and cross-functional teams.
    • Strong customer-first mindset and ability to operate independently while leading technical workstreams.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
    • Relevant certifications such as CCNA, Fortinet, Microsoft, VMware, Security+, Network+, or equivalent infrastructure and cloud credentials are preferred.
    • Experience in consulting, managed services, or acquisition-driven environments is advantageous.
    • Must be U.S.-based and able to travel extensively across the United States, Canada, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.
    • Valid driver's license and passport required.
    • Reliable high-speed internet connection suitable for remote work.
    • Ability to occasionally lift and install technology equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
