Operations Manager
Job description
- Track program status, hours, and risks with PMO.
- Review POs against contracts; flag and resolve mismatches with customers.
- Keep contract documentation and change tracking current.
- Help resolve customer issues related to delivery or documentation.
- Improve how we use SharePoint, Monday.com, Teams, and other tools.
- Support rollout of new systems (payroll vendor, HR tools, document management).
- Standardize processes as the company grows.
- Make sure the right people get the information they need on time.
- Give the CEO clear operational updates and flag risks early.
- Keep timekeeping and documentation consistent.
- Coordinate across PMO, Engineering, HR, and Procurement.
- Oversee billing accuracy and project profitability, and make sure bill rates and margins are correct.
- Coordinate with the bookkeeper on AP/AR: review and flag issues, while the bookkeeper handles transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in operations, program coordination, or contract administration.
- Ability to read and interpret contracts and POs.
- Strong organization and follow through.
- Clear communication across teams and with customers.
- Comfort building structure and process in a growing company.
- Proficiency with SharePoint, Excel, and Teams.
- Aerospace or project-based engineering environment experience.
