Operations Safety Lead

You will build and run a cross-program operational safety compliance and assurance framework. You will standardize procedures and records, manage compliance obligations and incidents, conduct trend analysis, support safety cases, and report safety performance to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Establish a unified operational framework including standard operating procedures, readiness checklists, and incident taxonomy
• Own the operational safety ownership map and identify gaps and dependencies
• Develop and maintain safety-driven operational procedures
• Represent Operations in change-control and deployment-readiness reviews
• Own the operational compliance framework for permits, authorizations, customer obligations, audits, and regulatory changes
• Ensure and document fleet compliance requirements
• Manage incidents from classification and response through root-cause analysis, corrective action, and verified effectiveness
• Analyze cross-program incident and safety trends
• Maintain operational safety evidence, support safety cases, and report safety performance

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in operational compliance, transportation safety, program management, or a related field
• 3+ years in a safety-critical or regulated environment
• Experience owning compliance programs and their underlying frameworks
• Experience standardizing processes across multiple programs, sites, or business units
• Experience with root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive action through verified closure
• Experience building audit-ready documentation and recordkeeping systems
• Strong written communication skills
