Operations Support Specialist

About the Role:
The Operations Support Specialist provides hands-on support for the organization’s day-to-day technology, administrative, and operational needs. This position manages the company’s mobile device lifecycle, provides Tier 1 technology support, assists with hardware deployment and employee technology training, and supports reporting, documentation, and other operational processes. The role serves as a reliable resource for employees by troubleshooting issues, coordinating solutions, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure technology and operational processes run efficiently. This position may require travel to company offices and job sites to provide on-site technology and operational support as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the company’s mobile device lifecycle, including ordering, assigning, tracking, collecting, resetting, and preparing iPhones and iPads for employee use.
- Manage and maintain mobile device accounts, user profiles, applications, and device assignments.
- Provide Tier 1 technology support and independently troubleshoot common device, application, password, connectivity, and other technology issues; coordinate with appropriate resources and escalate more complex issues as needed.
- Assist with computer hardware deployment, maintenance, employee technology training, and on-site technology support at company offices and job sites.
- Maintain accurate technology, equipment, employee, and operational records and documentation.
- Assist with restoration invoicing, 360-degree job site video review and labeling, warehouse support, and other administrative and operational workflows.
- Review operational data, assist with monthly reporting, and identify discrepancies or items requiring follow-up.
- Support ongoing improvements to administrative, technology, and operational processes.
- Coordinate with employees, management, vendors, and other departments to resolve operational and technology-related needs.
Minimum
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or post-secondary coursework in business administration, information technology, operations, or a related field preferred, but not required.
- One to three years of administrative, operations, technology support, or related experience preferred.
- Strong customer service, organizational, documentation, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and appropriately handle confidential information
- Strong technology proficiency, particularly with Apple iPhones and iPads and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot, research, and resolve basic hardware, software, application, password, and connectivity issues and appropriately escalate more complex problems.
- Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to maintain accurate records, learn new systems and processes, and work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, management, vendors, and other departments.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to company offices and job sites as needed.
Work Environment & Physical
Requirements
- Work is primarily performed in an office environment with periodic travel to company offices, warehouses, and active job sites.
- Ability to use computers, mobile devices, and standard office equipment for extended periods.
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or move computer equipment, mobile devices, and related materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to comply with applicable job-site safety requirements when providing on-site support.
