Job description

Howmet Aerospace Inc. has an immediate opportunity for a full-time Organizational Change Manager (OCM)-IT position in Pittsburgh, PA. The selected individual will maintain/update the strategic OCM Methodology and be the voice for the OCM track, which is within the Continuous Improvement/GIS PMO team. Maintain the OCM Methodology documentation and identify/support training needs, will manage all aspects of OCM for projects assigned, both within Global Information Services, Business Unit IT, and Resource Units using GIS, by collaborating with various stakeholders to define, monitor and execute the OCM tasks.

Major Activities and Key Challenges Include:

  • Utilize technically sound methods of investigation, analysis, design, planning, and scheduling, adhering to the IT and OCM methodologies and conventions
  • Manage multiple OCM project tracks simultaneously and corresponding tasks to include but not limited to: Working with identified project tracks and departments to coordinate project visioning, stakeholder identification and management, impact analysis, communication planning and execution, leadership alignment, training needs identification and planning, and post-project surveys and value success.
  • Aggressive project management execution of OCM deliverables to defined timelines and deadlines along with the ability to get things done through supervision/management of assigned track leads as well as external resources
  • Independently organize and complete multiple projects to meet customers' expectations and imposed deadlines
  • Use advanced skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Business Intelligence and ServiceNow to develop spreadsheets, graphs and convey information effectively across a wide range of information consumers.
  • Compiles and provides metrics and status reports, for executives and team members, while understanding the level of information needed for each defined group.
  • Keeps informed of technical and managerial advances in OCM, Project Management, and general IT.
  • SharePoint site creation, maintenance, and development
  • Other activities will include participation in PMO process improvement initiatives

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Institution
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience providing Organizational Change Management support in the field of IT.
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience delivering on key IT projects to include strategic planning, development and successful implementation of an OCM plan.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in OCM leading medium to large projects and demonstrate a solid understanding of project management and OCM processes, methodologies, and techniques
  • IT Project or OCM knowledge includes experience with leading project or OCM support across multiple IT disciplines which may include Technical Infrastructure, Networks, Applications, Security and Compliance, and AI.
  • General knowledge of Functional business applications such as Financials, Requisition to Pay, Order to Cash, HR, Payroll, Benefits, EHS, etc.
  • Participation in Global Teams
  • Working with and managing 3rd party vendors and suppliers.

Salary range: $110K - 125K/year approximation (Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location).
