Position Summary

Lindsay Precast Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Business Development/Outside Sales Representative focused on revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a track record of strong business development and closing new business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys selling new business, developing strong partnerships, and helping a company grow and expand into new industries and markets. The successful candidate must be able to work hand in hand with operations to provide a customer experience that develops into repeat business.

Products

Examples of products include utility structures, box culverts, arches, tunnels, three-sided structures, junction chambers, foundations, and converting cast-in-place concrete to precast solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Deliver sales growth and develop new opportunities.
• Develop new opportunities in other industries, including energy, data centers, industrial, and transportation.
• Establish contact with existing customers, identify new opportunities, and follow up on potential leads.
• Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers and develop customer trust and confidence.
• Effectively position the Company’s products and services as the solution to the client’s needs.
• Identify and recommend new or enhanced products or service features by soliciting client feedback, monitoring industry trends, and tracking the competitive environment to drive growth.
• Negotiate contracts and utilize successful order-closing strategies to secure orders.

Preferred Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Business is a plus.
• Three years of related experience.
• Previous experience in construction, engineering, electrical engineering, or technology industries.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Strong understanding of materials and product drawings.
• Demonstrated successful and positive personal leadership, interpersonal, organizational, administrative, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the desire to grow.
