Pemberton Personal Injury Law Firm is growing and looking for a dedicated, organized Litigation Legal Assistant to join our team. This role provides an opportunity to support attorneys, keep litigation matters moving, and make a meaningful difference for clients.

What You Will Do
You will work closely with attorneys and the legal team to manage personal injury cases through litigation. You will help keep cases organized, deadlines on track, clients informed, and the team prepared for each stage of a case.
- Manage a high volume of personal injury cases from intake through litigation, settlement, or trial preparation.
- Maintain case calendars and monitor statutory, discovery, court, and litigation deadlines.
- Draft and format pleadings, discovery, correspondence, and other case-related documents.
- Assist attorneys with trial preparation, exhibit organization, witness coordination, and courtroom logistics as needed.
- Conduct basic research and organize medical records, billing, insurance information, deposition transcripts, and other case materials.
- Prepare clients and case materials for depositions, mediations, hearings, and other litigation events.
- Communicate with clients, medical providers, experts, opposing counsel, and insurance adjusters throughout the litigation process.
- Schedule depositions, mediations, hearings, client appointments, and other meetings while maintaining organized case files.
- Assist attorneys and the legal team with general case and office support as needed.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and case responsibilities effectively.
- Excellent legal writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
- Professional, compassionate, and empathetic approach when working with clients navigating difficult or stressful situations.
- Ability to manage a high volume of casework while maintaining accuracy, quality, and responsiveness in a fast-paced team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- At least two (2) years of experience as a Legal Assistant or Senior Case Manager, preferably in a personal injury law firm.
- Personal injury litigation experience is strongly preferred; however, candidates with civil litigation experience are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with legal case management software, such as Filevine, Clio, or MyCase, is preferred.

- Job Type: Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week
- 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Remote employees must be available for in-person meetings, training, firm events, court-related needs, or other business needs when required.
