About the Role

The Planning and Scheduling Manager leads production planning, scheduling, inventory coordination, and operational workflow activities supporting manufacturing performance and customer delivery requirements. This role partners with operations, supply chain, manufacturing, and customer support teams to align production schedules, manage material flow, and improve operational efficiency across manufacturing environments. Success in this role results in improved production visibility, optimized manufacturing output, strengthened inventory coordination, and consistent operational performance supporting customer fulfillment objectives.

What You’ll Do

Production Planning & Operation Coordination

  • Lead production planning activities supporting manufacturing schedules and customer delivery requirements.
  • Develop production schedules aligned with operational capacity and material availability objectives.
  • Monitor production workflows supporting manufacturing output and operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Coordinate inventory and material flow supporting manufacturing continuity and operational performance.
  • Support operational planning activities aligned with customer demand and production priorities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Operation Alignment

  • Partner with operations and manufacturing teams supporting production scheduling initiatives.
  • Coordinate with supply chain teams supporting inventory management and material availability requirements.
  • Collaborate with customer support teams supporting delivery timelines and fulfilment activities.
  • Support communication activities related to production schedules, priorities, and operational updates.
  • Communicate operational risks, production concerns, and scheduling issues to leadership teams.

Performance Management, Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Monitor production metrics supporting KPI visibility and operational accountability initiatives.
  • Identify workflow issues impacting manufacturing performance and customer fulfilment objectives.
  • Drive process improvements strengthening production efficiency and scheduling consistency initiatives.
  • Maintain production documentation supporting audits, governance, and operational reporting requirements.
  • Support compliance activities aligned with manufacturing and operational planning requirements.

    • Maintain awareness of the requirements of, and their individual contribution to and impact on the effectiveness of, the Integrated Management System (IMS), including Quality, Health & Safety,
    • Environmental and Product Compliance objectives and requirements
    • Report on unsafe acts, unsafe conditions, incidents, and injuries, quality issues, compliance concerns, violations to the appropriate personnel without delay.
    • Participate in required training, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    What You’ll Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or related discipline preferred.
    • Minimum five years of production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations experience preferred.
    • Minimum two years leading production planning or operational coordination activities preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of production scheduling, inventory coordination, and manufacturing workflows required.
    • Experience supporting ERP systems and manufacturing planning platforms preferred.
    • Experience supporting material planning and operational scheduling activities required.
    • Strong analytical skills evaluating production trends and operational performance metrics.
    • Effective communication skills supporting operational and manufacturing stakeholder collaboration.
    • Strong organizational skills managing production priorities and operational timelines.
    • Experience supporting KPI reporting and operational performance improvement initiatives preferred.
    • Experience supporting manufacturing compliance and operational reporting activities preferred.
