If you are a Plant Manager professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Stafford, TX location, you will provide leadership for the successful day-to-day operation of the plant by advising and leading all plant operations with overall responsibilities for safety, quality, production, maintenance, logistics, and employee relations, as well as other production-related activities. In this role, you will define and implement strategic plans that are aligned with the Global Pressure Management Strategy.
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Lead all day-to-day plant operations, ensuring strong performance across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Cash (SQDCC).
- Own the plant’s P&L, budget, forecasts, and operating targets, driving financial and operational performance.
- Develop and execute the plant’s strategic plan and continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality, cost, and customer satisfaction.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Maintenance, HR, and other functions to ensure seamless plant performance.
- Drive Lean/Continuous Improvement through Gemba walks, root-cause problem solving, and process optimization.
- Oversee capital investments, resources, materials, and inventory to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost.
- Build strong relationships with customers, senior leadership, and global Emerson teams to support business growth and customer commitments.
- Develop talent and succession plans while leading positive culture and organizational change.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
- Relevant years of proven experience in engineering, materials and/or manufacturing operations commensurate with the level of this position
- Experience making and executing on financial operating plans (P&L)
- Thorough expertise in safety standards and a dedicated focus on enhancing customer satisfaction
- Proven leadership abilities which cultivate strong morale and group commitments to achieve goals and objectives while promoting continuous improvement and change
- Capable of inspiring and guiding the team to execute the corporate vision
- Must be able to effectively communicate with employees, department managers, and senior management on a regular basis
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship is not available for this position
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
- Master's degree
- 10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience, including 5+ years in plant or operations leadership
