Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Directs daily clinic workflows through expert Practice Management to ensure efficient patient care and high staff morale.
- Oversees comprehensive Healthcare Administration to maintain high standards of patient safety, service quality, and operational consistency.
- Manages the entire Revenue Cycle Management process to secure timely billing, reduce claim denials, and maximize financial performance.
- Supervises staff by actively hiring, training, and providing daily work direction to build a high-performing and cohesive team.
- Builds accurate financial plans using advanced Budgeting & Forecasting techniques to control costs and support growth.
- Maintains strict Regulatory Compliance to protect patient privacy and meet all healthcare laws and accreditation standards.
- Optimizes Patient Access pathways to reduce wait times, streamline scheduling, and improve the overall patient journey.
- Drives continuous Process Improvement initiatives to eliminate waste, update workflows, and elevate service delivery.
- Evaluates and coordinates Vendor Management contracts to secure the best equipment, software, and services for the practice.
- Leads the adoption and optimization of EHR/EMR Systems to ensure accurate medical record-keeping and seamless clinical communication.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Holds a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Demonstrates at least 5 years of progressive experience in medical practice management or healthcare operations.
- Shows a proven history of staff supervision, including hiring, performance management, and team development.
Knowledge/Skills
- Possesses deep expertise in Practice Management and Healthcare Administration best practices.
- Applies strong financial skills in Revenue Cycle Management and Budgeting & Forecasting.
- Navigates complex Regulatory Compliance standards within the healthcare industry.
- Operates and troubleshoots modern EHR/EMR Systems with ease.
- Communicates clearly to resolve conflicts, lead teams, and collaborate with physicians and executives.
Preferred Qualifications
- Holds a master's degree in healthcare or business administration.
- Earns a recognized certification such as Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE).
Physical Requirements/Work Conditions
- Works primarily in a standard professional office and clinical environment.
- Sits at a desk and uses a computer for extended periods.
- Lifts office supplies and equipment weighing up to 20 pounds as needed.
- Travels locally to attend meetings or visit sister clinics on occasion.
