Overview

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) powers some of the world's most demanding workloads, helping organizations innovate with secure, high-performance cloud services. As OCI continues to grow, we're looking for a Principal Program Manager – Product Messaging to help shape how we communicate our technology, customer impact, and product strategy.

This role sits at the intersection of product messaging, executive communications, customer storytelling, and strategic program management, bringing OCI's products and strategy to life through compelling narratives while driving high-impact initiatives across the OCI Product Management organization.

You'll partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, and executive leadership to develop customer-facing stories, build compelling executive presentations, ghostwrite executive communications, and translate complex cloud technologies into clear, credible, and impactful messaging. Your work will support high-visibility engagements, including executive keynotes, industry conferences, customer meetings, press and analyst briefings, and strategic presentations.

Beyond storytelling, you'll bring structure, judgment, and execution to complex cross-functional initiatives. From supporting AI-related initiatives across Product Management to stepping into critical, time-sensitive projects, you'll help align stakeholders, translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, and drive initiatives through execution.

The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and presentation builder with proven experience developing product messaging and partnering with technical teams to create compelling storylines. You know how to transform complex technical concepts, engineering insights, and product capabilities into engaging narratives that resonate with executive, technical, and business audiences.

You're equally comfortable crafting an executive keynote, shaping a customer success story, developing a product messaging framework, and leading a complex initiative involving multiple stakeholders. You thrive in ambiguity, influence without direct authority, and combine creative storytelling with strong business judgment and disciplined execution.

  • Develop compelling product messaging, executive presentations, keynote narratives, and customer-facing content that communicate OCI's product capabilities, differentiation, and customer value.
  • Partner closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Product Marketing to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accurate, and engaging storylines.
  • Ghostwrite and develop executive-level communications, including conference presentations, customer engagement materials, strategic narratives, and press and analyst briefing content.
  • Build cohesive product stories that connect technical capabilities to customer challenges, business outcomes, and market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape messaging for high-visibility external engagements and strategic initiatives.
  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple teams, stakeholders, and organizational priorities.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, establish milestones, coordinate deliverables, and drive execution.
  • Influence and align stakeholders across Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, and other partner organizations without direct authority.
  • Support emerging initiatives, including AI-related programs, and lead time-sensitive projects requiring strong judgment, adaptability, and execution.
  • Use business insights, data, and stakeholder feedback to strengthen messaging, inform decisions, and improve program outcomes.
  • Manage multiple high-priority deliverables while maintaining exceptional quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in program management, strategic initiatives, product communications, or closely related roles, including demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional work.
  • Experience developing product messaging frameworks and customer success narratives.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and executive presentation-building skills, with demonstrated experience creating compelling narratives, presentations, and communications for senior leadership and external audiences.
  • Proven experience developing product messaging and positioning, translating complex technical capabilities into clear, differentiated, and customer-focused stories.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with technical teams, including Product Management and Engineering, to develop accurate, engaging storylines that communicate product capabilities, technical differentiation, and business value.
  • Experience developing executive-level communications, including presentations, strategic narratives, talking points, and high-visibility content.
  • Strong business acumen, with experience translating strategic objectives into executable programs, deliverables, and measurable outcomes.
  • Outstanding written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to tailor complex information to executive, technical, customer, and business audiences.
  • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, exercise independent judgment, and manage multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and demonstrated ownership of high-visibility deliverables from concept through completion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in cloud infrastructure, enterprise software, AI, or other complex technical product environments.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, infrastructure services, AI capabilities, and enterprise technology trends.
  • Experience collaborating with technical executives, product leaders, and engineering organizations on external-facing communications.
