The Product Manager supports a team of Product Analysts in the Medicare product bid filing, CMS-required materials, and other key deliverables of benefit and product content. Product Managers have an expert understanding of the MA Product portfolio across M&R and C&S. They define deliverables and manage the processes the Product Analyst team follows to complete their work. They provide direction and support to their team of analysts to achieve the goal of 100% accurate and on-time bid filing, materials, and content review.

Product Managers work with their leaders, business partners, and peers to align communication and expectations across the organization. They work with their leaders to support a common team operating model, through which all Product Analysts understand their role in the organization. They are accountable for continually evolving the team to meet business needs, given the constant changes required from the federal government and the broader organization. The deep relationships and capabilities they build with their direct reports helps them uncover opportunities to utilize and develop that talent in the best ways possible within and outside of the Product Analyst team.

Responsibilities

  • Leverages skills and capabilities within a team of up to 8 direct reports to support common goals and deliverables of the Product & Experience organization including:
    • Medicare Product Development
    • Bid Submission to Federal Government/CMS
    • Manage CMS Tools (HPMS, Medicare Plan Finder, Medicare & You)
    • Required Materials Management (Annual Notice of Changes, Evidence of Coverage)
    • Content management and development
    • Product Infrastructure Support
  • Manages communication effectively both up with leaders and down to team, supporting alignment of work and goals
  • Relationship owner with key business partners such as Actuarial, Underwriting, Regional Market Leaders, and Operations
  • Takes collective accountability for team's individual contributions in the context of overall expectations for business deliverables
  • Fosters a team culture of psychological safety with openness to learning and conversations oriented on development
  • Targets key team success indices as measured by EXI surveys, taken twice a year
  • Hires and develops a diverse and talented team of Product Analysts that support the evolving needs of the MA Product business

Required

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience with Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan products, or related experience leading a team or project with extensive Medicare Product knowledge
  • 3+ years experience with PBP filing, benefit planning, and/or member materials development processes
  • 2+ years experience with CMS required materials and content
  • Experience building a team that leverages individual capabilities to support all elements of workflow
  • Effective communication skills and ability to deliver information as a leader in individual and group settings
  • Able to work with and communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Able to manage a team of individuals, providing direction and coaching that flexes to different communication styles
  • Strong analytical skills, detail and accuracy orientation
  • Able to manage successfully in a change environment

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
