Echodyne is seeking a Product Manager to join our fast-growing team.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Echodyne is seeking a Product Manager to support the development and delivery of EchoWare, our radar software product. This role turns established product priorities into clear, actionable work for Engineering and helps ensure delivered functionality meets product requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Break product requirements and epics into well-scoped user stories with clear workflows, edge cases and testable acceptable criteria.
  • Maintain and prioritize the EchoWare backlog in Jira, keeping upcoming work ready for development and aligned with established product and release priorities.
  • Lead backlog refinement with Engineering and sequence work around priorities and technical dependencies.
  • Serve as the day-to-day Product contact during development, resolving requirements questions and documenting decisions and changes.
  • Make tactical product decisions within established direction; escalate changes affecting scope, priorities, product intent, or customer commitments.
  • Partner with Engineering, UX, and Test to resolve tradeoffs, agree on what done means, and validate delivered functionality against requirements.
  • Capture defects, limitations, and follow-up work and bring customer and field feedback back to the Product team.
  • Build working knowledge of EchoWare, customer workflows, integrations, and operational use cases to inform product decisions.

REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or a related software product role.
  • Experience working with software engineering teams through development and release.
  • Ability to translate product requirements into clear user stories and testable acceptance criteria.
  • Experience maintaining and refining product backlogs in Jira or a similar tool.
  • Working knowledge of Agile development practices and the ability to understand technical tradeoffs and dependencies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a technical, fast-moving environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

DESIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE

  • Familiarity with radar, sensor software, defense, security, or airspace management applications.

The expected annual salary range for this role is$114,330—$170,980 USD
