Product Marketing Manager
Job description
Tines is the intelligent workflow company that powers some of the world's most important workflows.
Tines has been supporting IT and security teams from a diverse range of customers, including Canva, Reddit, SAP, Coinbase, Mars, Fin (Intercom), and McKesson.
Tines 3B, launched in 2026, is the next generation of Tines – a single, secure environment for every team’s apps, agents and automations.
As an integrator across the entire tech stack, Tines is vendor-agnostic integrating with any API-enabled service. This flexibility enables our customers to achieve their highest-priority goals faster. Tines has security woven into its DNA, and our platform is secure and private by design.
At Tines, we're driven by our values of Simplicity, Speed, and Soundness. We're committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences while fostering a company culture that nurtures individual curiosity, growth, and integrity. We’re excited about what’s next, and we’re looking for others to join us on our journey.
About the role
In this role, you’ll develop a customer-centric narrative for Tines’ platform capabilities. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, commercial, and marketing teams to turn technical capabilities into clear positioning, compelling content, and effective product launches.
IT will be a priority audience, and you’ll help us reach customers and decision-makers across other lines of business. Working alongside our audience product marketers, you’ll connect a consistent platform story to the problems different business teams need to solve.
You’ll be a leading voice on where Tines fits in the evolving AI landscape. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys building with the product, forming a defensible point of view, and turning that thinking into work our teams and customers can use.
You can work remotely within the US but must in an eastern or central state.
What you will be doing:
- Market research. Conduct customer interviews and win/loss research, follow AI developments, and contribute to analyst engagement. Turn what you learn into recommendations for our positioning and go-to-market approach.
- Competitive intelligence. Understand emerging competitors and established alternatives. Translate research into differentiation, battlecards, objection-handling resources, and training.
- Positioning and messaging. Create a clear narrative for what customers can build, run, and monitor with Tines. Partner with product marketers to make it relevant to IT and expanded audiences.
- Product launches. Lead product marketing for new platform capabilities, from identifying audiences and use cases through launch messaging, content, enablement, and measurement.
- Enablement. Partner with Sales Enablement and customer-facing teams to build confidence in our positioning and equip them to address questions from customers, business decision-makers, and technical evaluators.
- Content and collateral. Create practical resources, including blogs, decks, webinars, guides, and product collateral. Work with Content Strategy and experts across engineering, solution engineering, customer success, and support to make our story accurate, credible, and useful.
What you bring with you:
- 8+ years of experience across product marketing, marketing, product management, technical or operational roles, or strategy consulting, including at least three years of direct product marketing experience.
- Experience marketing a technical B2B software product in a fast-moving environment, with an understanding of how enterprise teams evaluate and buy software, particularly within IT.
- Strong positioning and messaging skills, with outstanding written and verbal communication. You can simplify complex concepts without losing accuracy and adapt a narrative for different audiences.
- Practical experience using AI to solve business problems, curiosity about the market, and the ability to discuss its strengths and limitations. You enjoy learning a product by building with it.
- Experience launching products or capabilities and bringing them to new audiences, including identifying use cases, understanding personas, and developing go-to-market programs.
- Strong research and analytical judgment. You can turn customer insight and competitive intelligence into a clear point of view, then use feedback and results to refine it.
- Comfort balancing strategic, creative, and tactical work. You take ownership, prioritize effectively, and create content and enablement yourself.
- Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships across distributed teams. You can earn support for a recommendation, defend it thoughtfully, and change your approach when the evidence calls for it.
Compensation: $175,000-$185,000 + equity

Skills mentioned

Smart, secure workflows for the whole team. Too often, business as usual is bogged down in busywork and toil. Individuals and teams that could make a meaningful impact in the business outcomes are left trying to fix systems and processes that aren’t built to interact. Tines empowers teams to focus their efforts and break barriers between people and systems so that both can do their best work. Born in security, used by everyone. Before Tines, our founders, Eoin and Thomas spent more than a decade as senior security operators, experiencing all of the usual pain points felt within and beyond security teams: too much work; not enough staff; inevitable incidents. They knew there needed to be a laser-focused solution, so in 2018 they started building Tines. Our values Simplicity: We strive for our product, processes, and customer interactions to be as simple, straightforward, and understandable as possible. In everything we do, we try to remove the unnecessary barriers and friction, focusing on the most important and impactful work. Speed: We are quick to ship, to respond, and to act. Speed is critical, however, it’s irrelevant if applied in a haphazard way. We must take ownership, execute with purpose, collect feedback, and iterate. In this way, speed becomes velocity and momentum. Soundness: We’re determined to achieve our mission and goals, but we want to be proud of HOW we achieve them. Doing the right thing for our customers and teammates is what truly sets Tines apart. We believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt. We demonstrate transparency, honesty and integrity at all times.
