Program: Sierra Center Work Release
Location: New Haven
Salary: $65,000-70,000/year
Schedule: Full time, 40 hours, 1st shift, Monday-Friday (8-4p) with evening and weekend flexibility to meet the needs of the program
Program
Summary
Sierra Center Work Release is a residential work release program that provides individualized treatment services, job preparation, and substance use education to adults under the supervision of DOC. These services are provided to assist with successfully re-entering the community while avoiding new offenses.
Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Director, the Program Manager is responsible for the oversight of daily programmatic operations including program development, supervision, staff training, quality assurance and program evaluation. This position supervised the Assistant Program Manager, Job Developer and Case Management staff.
Working within Adult Services, the Program Manager 1 within the Sierra Center Work Release program works with Community Justice program staff to help to rehabilitate, educate, and successfully guide clients from incarceration back into the community.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years related experience and supervision
- Valid Driver’s License
- Regular and predictable attendance
Orientation:
If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
