Project Manager III (Focused on Technology) | Tulsa, OK (ON-SITE)
Job description
Oversee various system projects of a highly complex nature without supervision. Assemble project team, assign individual responsibilities, identify appropriate resources needed, and develop schedule to ensure timely completion of projects.
This position serves as an administrative and analytical resource for the implementation, adoption, governance, and operational support of AI technologies across the organization. This role will work closely with IT, cybersecurity, data, business units, and leadership to ensure AI services are delivered in a secure, reliable, and user-focused manner. Focusing on user AI adoption while monitoring the evolving AI technology landscape, provide leadership updates, and develop usage reporting to support decision-making, adoption, performance, and risk oversight.
- Evaluates and develops project plans and budgets.
- Maintains familiarity with the system scope and project objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member in order to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
- Coordinates with multiple internal and external groups.
- Disseminates information on any problems or potential delays and mitigation plans.
- Ensures that projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Communicates project progress to appropriate audience.
- Manages all phases of assigned programs from inception through completion
- Manages aspects of customer interface, including requirements of cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Manages project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members.
- Participates in negotiation of requirements and requirements changes.
- Oversees Cost, Schedule, Scope, and Risk Management.
- Remains aware of any potential problems and works to mitigate any risks
- Serves as focal point for and liaison between departments on project status or other project information.
- Provides administrative and functional support for AI users, including issue diagnosis, problem resolution, user guidance, and escalation when needed.
- Supports the administration, configuration, and ongoing management of the organization’s private AI environment.
- Onboards approved AI modules, tools, models, and capabilities into the private AI environment in alignment with organizational standards, security requirements, and governance processes.
- Sets up, configures, tests, and maintains large language models within the private AI environment.
- Supports testing, validation, and quality assurance of AI modules, model responses, system changes, and user-facing AI functionality.
- Maintains documentation related to system configurations, model versions, user groups, system changes, support processes, and operational procedures.
- Lead/and or guide the work of other employees.
- Work may require travel, including overnight stays.
- Work will require varied shifts including weekends and holidays, as needed (on call).
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, finance, or accounting and eight (8) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with administration of technical solution and/or hardware, preferred.
- Working knowledge of project management, creating, and implementing project schedules, and managing project teams and budgets.
- Experience providing user training, technical documentation, support procedures, job aids, and adoption guidance for enterprise platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Self-starter requiring minimal direction.
- Ability to work collaboratively with IT, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data, business units, vendors, and executive leadership.
- Excellent Analytical Skills with a proven approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques
