Job description

Quality Improvement Manager – Adult Day Health

RN required for this role. Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required.

As the Quality Improvement Manager, you will play an essential role in supporting clinical quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across our Worcester and Springfield Adult Day Health Centers. Serving as a key clinical resource to the Adult Day Health team, you will partner with clinical and operational leadership to identify opportunities for improvement, monitor outcomes, manage risk, and ensure high-quality, compliant services for the individuals we serve.

This is a hybrid position requiring approximately 3–4 days of travel between our Worcester and Springfield centers and 1–2 days working remotely. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a clinical quality resource for the Adult Day Health team across multiple locations

Lead and support continuous quality improvement initiatives and develop strategies to improve clinical outcomes and service quality

Analyze quality, incident, and performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

Partner with center and operational leadership to develop, implement, and monitor corrective action and quality improvement plans

Oversee incident management processes, including reviewing and trending incidents and supporting follow-up on critical events

Conduct and/or review internal investigations, including incidents involving allegations of abuse or neglect

Support compliance with state and federal regulations, organizational standards, contractual requirements, and accreditation standards

Prepare for and participate in regulatory surveys, audits, and quality reviews

Provide education, training, coaching, and technical assistance to clinical and operational teams

Collaborate with leadership to strengthen safety, risk management, customer engagement, and service excellence

Monitor the effectiveness of quality improvement initiatives and communicate findings and recommendations to leadership

Provide leadership and support to assigned quality staff

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or a related field required

3–5 years of clinical, quality improvement, healthcare, or regulatory experience

Multi-site healthcare management or leadership experience strongly preferred

Experience working with state healthcare regulations and/or regulatory survey processes preferred

Experience with quality improvement, compliance, risk management, or incident management preferred

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to travel between the Worcester and Springfield centers as needed

Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
