POSITION

OVERVIEW

As a Regional Facilities Manager at LJA Facilities, you will lead and support the facilities and office services function across multiple LJA locations. This role is responsible for ensuring all facilities are safe, well-maintained, properly staffed, and aligned with LJA standards while managing teams, vendors, budgets, and preventative maintenance programs. You will partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver efficient, cost-effective facility operations that support employee-owners and clients.

A TYPICAL DAY MIGHT INCLUDE:

  • Leading, coaching, and supporting facilities staff across multiple LJA office locations through regular check-ins, goal setting, and performance management
  • Overseeing facility operations such as repairs, remodels, buildouts, preventative maintenance, and service desk ticket resolution while ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders and external vendors to address facility needs, manage projects, review invoices, and support budget and capital planning
  • Responding to facility, safety, or weather-related incidents and coordinating with the safety team on inspections, emergency plans, and recovery procedures
  • Managing all invoices, expenses, time approval for all direct reports
  • Continuously provide training to Facilities team
  • Overseeing the Facilities budget for offices within scope anticipating risk and exceptions
  • Overseeing vendor sourcing and management reviewing performance through SLA’s, KPI’s and QBR’s.
  • Providing FreshService KPI data reporting and creation of presentations for leadership
  • Providing National Facilities Manager with updates and trends on teams workload for capacity planning
  • Performing monthly audits and quarterly inspections providing National Facilities Manager with updates and holding direct reports accountable
  • Ability to travel both within and outside of the assigned region
  • Co-leading presentations for monthly Team Lead Meeting

REQUIRED EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma, Bachelors degree preferred in FM, Construction, RE
  • 6+ years of experience as facility or construction manager including leading and managing teams across multiple locations

REQUIRED

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience building, leading, and managing facilities teams across multiple locations.
  • Strong knowledge of facilities operations, preventative maintenance programs, and vendor management
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, AutoCAD, and service desk ticketing systems
  • Working knowledge of OSHA standards and general safety practices
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prioritize and organize work across various locations
  • Ability to collaborate with functional and cross-functional partners
  • Experience in supporting corporate office environments
  • In-depth knowledge of multi-site facilities operations
  • Experience developing budgets, managing capital expenditures, and overseeing RFPs and contracts

IDEALLY, YOU SHOULD ALSO HAVE:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Construction Management, Corporate Real Estate, or Project Management
  • Hands-on ability to use tools for repairs and routine maintenance tasks
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to anticipate client and stakeholder needs

PHYISCAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend, walk, kneel, push/pull, stand for extended periods, and work on ladders
  • Professional appearance

OTHER

  • Pass background checks, drug screenings, and maintain ongoing eligibility for company travel and security access.
