The Regional Human Resources Director serves as the strategic Human Resources partner and primary HR
resource for an assigned region of PMMA communities. Working from the home or corporate office and
traveling regularly to assigned communities, this position provides indirect oversight, guidance and training to
Community Human Resources Directors; ensures consistent, compliant application of PMMA policies,
procedures and employment practices; leads regional and organizational HR initiatives; and builds collaborative
relationships with Executive Directors, community leadership and corporate departments.
The Regional Human Resources Director serves as the interim Community Human Resources Director when a community HR position is vacant, supports the Vice President of Human Resources and other areas of the organization, and consults with the Vice President of Human Resources on complex employee relations matters, policy interpretation and terminations.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and/or TRAINING:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources or related field.
- Minimum of five (5) years progressive professional experience in human resources, including at least three (3) years in a multi-site HR generalist, HR management or HR leadership role.
- Experience in healthcare, long-term care or senior living, preferred.
- Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook and the ability to learn HRIS programs (e.g., Healthcare Source, M-Files and payroll/timekeeping systems).
- SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR certification preferred; if not currently certified, must be willing to obtain certification within 24 months of hire.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and auto insurance that meets PMMA requirements.
