Regional Sales Advisory (RSA) Team Lead
Job description
TurboTax is standing up the Regional Sales Advisory (RSA) team for the first time, a new sales function built to activate our expanding retail footprint. As retail investment scales from a handful of locations toward a much larger national footprint, this team exists to turn that presence into real customer relationships rather than just added square footage. RSA agents own the full pre-sale conversation, establishing value, handling objections, and securing a committed booking, before a TurboTax Expert is ever involved. As a founding Manager on this team, you will lead a team of agents in your market, build the coaching rhythms and performance standards that define this program from day one, and play a direct role in shaping a brand new advisory motion rather than inheriting an established playbook.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Regional Sales Advisors in your assigned market, coaching consultative talk track execution and day to day performance
- Own territory coverage, dialer cadence, and book of business tracking for your team
- Drive geo targeted outbound campaigns anchored to retail and flagship locations, treating this as relationship origination rather than appointment setting
- Hold your team accountable to connect rate, appointment booking rate, and Expert appointment show rate, the core drivers of program performance
- Build consistent 1:1 coaching rhythms, using call review to reinforce consultative selling behaviors like life event signal capture, warm handoffs, and referral generation
- Support your team's transition from a new, unproven motion into a mature, scalable program as the team grows
Qualifications
- Experience managing a sales or service team, ideally in a coaching heavy, metrics driven environment
- Strong ability to read performance data and translate it into weekly coaching action
- Comfortable coaching consultative, advisory style conversations rather than scripted, appointment setting interactions
- Able to hold a team accountable to performance standards clearly and fairly
- Energized by building something new: comfortable operating without an established playbook and helping shape one
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to lead a team through growth and change
- Experience managing distributed or multi location teams a plus
