Join a Mission That Matters DDRC is seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Manager to lead and strengthen our revenue cycle and billing operations. This position oversees the full revenue cycle process and provides leadership to a team of three employees, with a focus on accurate and timely reimbursement, effective denial management, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who brings strong Colorado Medicaid billing expertise, understands the full claims lifecycle, and enjoys improving processes while developing and supporting a team. Compensation: $81,000 to $93,150 annually

Location: 11177 West 8th Ave. Lakewood, CO 80215

Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Essential Functions:
  • Lead revenue cycle operations, including claim creation, submission, follow-up, payment posting, reconciliation, and denial management.
  • Develop and monitor revenue cycle procedures and performance measures.
  • Ensure billing practices comply with Medicaid, state, federal, and organizational requirements.
  • Analyze revenue cycle performance and identify opportunities to improve cash flow, reduce denials, and strengthen billing processes.
  • Oversee claim preparation, submission, reconciliation, and resolution of denied, rejected, and underpaid claims.
  • Identify system, workflow, and operational barriers affecting reimbursement and implement solutions.
  • Partner with Finance to support accurate revenue recognition and financial reporting.
  • Lead, coach, train, and manage the performance of billing staff.
  • Work across departments to support accurate service documentation and billing practices.
  • Utilize EHR systems and clearinghouse platforms to manage billing activities and reporting.
  • Support audits, compliance reviews, billing documentation requests, and improvements to billing and EHR systems.

Qualifications and

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Relevant experience may substitute for education.
  • At least three years of Colorado Medicaid billing experience.
  • At least three years of experience leading, training, or mentoring billing staff.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management, reimbursement methodologies, and claims lifecycle processes.
  • Experience successfully resolving denied, rejected, and failed claims.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with CareLogic EHR.
  • Medical Billing certification.
  • Medicaid waiver billing experience.
  • Experience in intellectual and developmental disability services, behavioral health, human services, or a similar healthcare environment.
  • Experience working with multiple EHR systems, billing platforms, and clearinghouses.

Work EnvironmentThis position is primarily based at DDRC's Central office in Lakewood, Colorado. The role requires comfort working in a highly regulated environment with detailed reports, documentation requirements, deadlines, confidential information, and changing organizational priorities. Some scheduling flexibility may be needed to support organizational, financial, audit, or training needs.
