PRN Registered Nurse

PRN Hours: 4:00 PM–8:00 AM

Locations: Wooster, Millersburg, and New Philadelphia

Must be willing to work 4:00 PM–4:00 AM, 8:00 PM–8:00 AM, or any hours in between within the 4:00 PM–8:00 AM timeframe.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking an RN who plans and delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation. The RN effectively interacts with patients, families, and other interdisciplinary team members while maintaining the highest standards of professional nursing.

This is a PRN position with shifts available between 4:00 PM and 8:00 AM. Candidates must be willing to work 4:00 PM–4:00 AM, 8:00 PM–8:00 AM, or any hours in between. The position may cover our Wooster, Millersburg, and New Philadelphia service areas.

Qualifications

Because you're committed to providing superior care, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Ohio's Hospice. You'll bring the following

qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing school; ASN required, BSN preferred
  • Active RN license in Ohio without any board actions
  • Two years of acute care nursing experience preferred
  • Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) preferred; required within two years of employment
  • CPR certified
  • Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care
  • Ability to travel during daytime, nighttime, and inclement weather
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record
  • State minimum automobile insurance coverage
