Job description
Schedule/Hours: Flexible schedule required; event coverage, evenings, and weekends may be required.
This position is responsible for: Assisting with organizing and executing events, reading and executing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and serving as a liaison between the Kroc Center and clients. The position supports event coordination, facility and event set-up, client communication, and delivery of excellent service to members and guests.
KeyResponsibilities
- Cultivates relationships with internal and external customers and maintains professional communication to support future facility rentals and events.
- Coordinates event details to ensure facility and event set-ups are complete and accurate according to contracts and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Communicates client needs with Kroc Center departments, greets guests, answers phone calls, and ensures event locations are clean and ready.
- Prints and reviews BEOs, collects waivers, assists with event agreements/contracts, post-event debriefings, and special events, conferences, and seasonal programs.
- Provides excellent service to members and guests while working independently, prioritizing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and supporting the Kroc Center team as needed.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Ability to meet attendance requirements and to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
- Ability to speak before large groups in person and move up to 40 lbs. for table, chair, and catering set-up needs.
- Duties are usually performed seated, with brief or occasional periods of standing or walking.
- Work is generally performed in a normal office environment with little or no physical discomfort associated with changes in weather, noise, dust, dirt, and similar conditions.
