Our purpose at Gallagher is to ‘Protect what matters most’ and we live it every day, whether that’s protecting the world’s highest security environments or agricultural businesses, we care deeply about our people, their families, and our wider communities.

Gallagher Security is on a mission to unlock more value for our customers through the power of our people and solutions. Our culture is entrepreneurial in spirit, complex, challenging, and ever-changing. With operations in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Asia, Africa, the UK, and Europe and exports to more than 140 countries - we’re proud to offer globally focused career paths.

We’re painting the future of what’s possible. Come join us.

About the Role

We’re hiring three Sales Interns to join our Security sales organization in May 2027. Based in Canton, Georgia, these hybrid internships offer the opportunity to work in the office three days each week while gaining hands-on exposure to business-to-business selling, strategic account development, sales operations, and customer relationship management.

You’ll support customer and prospect outreach, account research, campaign execution, event preparation, lead follow-up, and CRM activities. Your work will contribute to stronger customer engagement, coordinated sales activity, and the identification of new growth opportunities.

You’ll work closely with sales colleagues, customers, prospects, consultants, and strategic partners while building practical commercial, research, communication, and relationship-management skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Conducting outbound outreach to customers and prospects, including customers with outdated SMA or Care Plan agreements
  • Supporting pre-event outreach to schedule meetings for industry events, including ISC East, CONSULT, Convergint symposiums, and similar events
  • Researching target and strategic accounts, identifying opportunities, and developing account maps covering key contacts, decision-makers, influencers, locations, existing relationships, and expansion potential
  • Supporting targeted sales campaigns focused on perimeter solutions, migrations and QuickSwitch, vertical markets, and customer expansion
  • Researching industries, customer challenges, competitive positioning, relevant solutions, reference customers, and partner capabilities
  • Compiling research and content for vertical-market, strategic-account, and campaign playbooks, as well as gathering information for customer quotes and proposals
  • Maintaining accurate CRM account, contact, and sales activity data, including parent-child account relationships
  • Supporting lead follow-up, initial qualification, and routing opportunities to the appropriate salesperson
  • Assisting with lunch-and-learn sessions and contributing to other strategic sales initiatives and projects

Who You Are

You’re a curious, organized, and proactive student who is interested in business-to-business sales and confident building relationships through clear, professional communication.

You bring:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, or a related field
  • An interest in business-to-business sales, account management, customer engagement, or sales operations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging customers and prospects by phone and email
  • Strong research, organization, and attention-to-detail skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; experience with a CRM platform is helpful but not required
  • A willingness to learn, accept feedback, use sound judgment, and contribute in a fast-paced team environment

Why Join Us

At Gallagher, you’ll be part of a global organization with a clear purpose, where your work contributes to protecting people, assets, and communities worldwide.

You’ll gain hands-on sales experience, contribute to real customer and account initiatives, and build valuable skills across outreach, research, sales campaigns, events, CRM, and strategic account development.

If you’re ready to launch your sales career, learn from experienced professionals, and make a practical contribution from day one, we’d love to hear from you.
