Job Title: Customer Service RepresentativeDivision: The Music People, Inc.Location: Berlin, CT (Hybrid Office / Home)Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM

What You Will Do

The Music People is seeking a Customer Service Representative who will be responsible for performing a high volume of transactional work and supporting departmental projects.

The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail and provide administrative support to business operations through tasks such as order entry, customer service documentation, purchasing support, ERP data update projects, and team-based problem-solving initiatives.

Work Schedule

Work a standard 8-hour schedule each day with a 30-minute lunch break.

Tuesday and Thursday are required in-office workdays; all remaining workdays will be performed remotely from home.

Responsibilities

Create orders from inbound purchase orders and internal requests submitted by sales teams and other departments.

Create RMA documentation based on customer service requests.

Maintain ETA and purchase order information based on inbound supplier communications.

Provide shipment updates and freight quote updates to ensure the most efficient shipping options.

Monitor the phone queue and respond to questions from end users and customers.

Collaborate with the larger Sales Support team on ongoing projects and initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned to support various departments and business needs.

Maintain and update departmental documentation, processes, and procedures.
