About the Role
Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Junior SAP Integration Developer to support the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA).
The Junior SAP Integration Developer will support the technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support of SAP integration solutions. This role will use SAP PI/PO, SAP S/4HANA, and modern API frameworks to enable system-to-system communication, data exchange, and integration.
The developer will also support integration feasibility assessments, large-system and subsystem planning, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing related to modern integration practices.
This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust. An active Public Trust is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the technical design, development, testing, deployment, and post-release support of SAP integration solutions.
- Develop and support integrations using SAP PI/PO and modern API frameworks.
- Enable system-to-system communication, data exchange, and integration.
- Support integration requirements and feasibility assessments.
- Participate in large-system and subsystem planning activities.
- Support adherence to technical schedules and project milestones.
- Develop and maintain technical integration documentation.
- Share knowledge and best practices related to modern, standardized API integration techniques.
- Collaborate with technical and functional teams supporting SAP integration activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen.
- Minimum of 2 years of SAP PI/PO and/or relevant system integration experience.
- Experience with SAP PI/PO.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience supporting system integration, data exchange, and API-based integration.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active Public Trust.
- Experience supporting SAP integration within a federal environment.
- Experience with modern API integration frameworks and techniques.
- Experience developing technical integration documentation.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or 3 years of relevant experience.

The successful Junior SAP Integration Developer will contribute effectively throughout the integration lifecycle, from design and development through testing, deployment, and post-release support.
Success in this role means developing reliable integration solutions, supporting effective system-to-system communication, producing clear technical documentation, collaborating effectively with technical teams, and applying modern API integration practices across the SAP environment.
Location: Remote, with up to 25% onsite support in Arlington, VA/Washington, DC or Richmond, VA Work Arrangement: Primarily remote
