This is a seasonal position running from Thanksgiving through New Year's with guaranteed scheduled shifts during the holiday peak season.

Multiple shifts and schedules are available throughout the peak season.

After New Year's, there may be an opportunity to remain with Strange Trip Inc. as an on-call driver based on company needs and driver performance.

This position is ideal for drivers seeking steady seasonal income during the holidays with the potential for continued work after peak season.

Equipment

New diesel and electric box trucks.

Maintained under a strict and consistent preventative maintenance program - we operate only safe, clean, and well-maintained vehicles.

Position Overview

Strange Trip Inc. is hiring dependable and professional CDL Class A, B, or C seasonal drivers to support our growing team during the holiday peak season. Hazmat endorsement is required if you hold a CDL Class C.

This is a great fit for drivers looking for steady seasonal work and a reliable company to call home.

You'll run a dedicated local route departing around 3:30 AM – 5:30 AM from Piscataway, NJ.

You'll be paid regular route pay of $225 – $315 each day you work depending on the lane.

Guaranteed scheduled shifts are available from Thanksgiving through New Year's for peak season, with the potential to remain on-call after New Year's.

Paid training with an experienced driver provided.

The work involves touch freight - scanning, loading, and unloading boxes for final-mile and dedicated shipper customers.

Customer expectations are high, so we're looking for drivers who are punctual, careful, and detail-oriented, and who take pride in doing the job right.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A, B, or C license
• Clean MVR and criminal background
• Prior truck-driving experience strongly preferred
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and punctuality
• Excellent communication skills
• Commitment to safety, customer service, and equipment care
• Availability and flexibility throughout the holiday peak season

Run

• Dedicated local routes departing early morning from Piscataway, NJ
• Home daily
• Monday through Sunday routes
• Guaranteed scheduled shifts from Thanksgiving through New Year's
• Potential to transition to an on-call position after New Year's

Compensation

• $225 – $315 per day depending on the lane
