Job description

Join Collibra’s Sales team as a Senior Account Executive II, Enterprise - East Coast

Make an impact at Collibra by fueling Collibra’s growth in your assigned East Coast territory and be the guiding force behind bringing Collibra’s value and vision to customers and prospects. As part of our Enterprise Sales team, you will be a relentless hunter — opening new doors, building pipelines from scratch, and driving net new revenue across some of the most exciting enterprise accounts on the East Coast. This is a role for someone who thrives in a greenfield environment and is energized by the challenge of finding and closing new business.

Senior Account Executives at Collibra are responsible for

  • Aggressively prospecting and hunting for net new accounts, building pipeline from the ground up through disciplined outbound activity, executive outreach, and creative prospecting strategies
  • Managing and creating demand for expansion on existing customers to widen the footprint of Collibra within accounts
  • Owning complex deal cycles end to end — from lead origination and stakeholder mapping through negotiation, close, and expansion
  • Successfully collaborating with customers, partners, and peers in a consultative sales process where you will identify value and ROI to support customer needs
  • Maintaining reliable, accurate forecasting with Salesforce updates reflective of real-time activity

You have

  • A proven hunter mentality — you have built pipeline from zero, opened cold accounts, and closed net new logos consistently throughout your career
  • Consistently achieved or overachieved your SaaS sales quota — President’s Club or equivalent recognition is a strong signal
  • Experience in the Data Management domain highly preferred
  • 6+ years in new business and account management SaaS/tech sales with a clear emphasis on net new logo acquisition
  • Originated and navigated complex, direct sales cycles with multiple technical and business stakeholders
  • Sold net new business and expansion opportunities to C-level buyers in large enterprise accounts
  • Managed consultative sales processes with value-based impacts or outcomes
  • At least 2 to 3 years of experience in data management sales familiar with corresponding sales methodologies and comprehensible track records
  • Demonstrated proficiency in leveraging AI tools such as Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or Copilot to drive measurable outcomes, streamline workflows, and accelerate pipeline generation
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship

You are

  • A grinder — someone who acts with urgency, holds themselves accountable, and does not wait to be handed opportunities
  • Known for your integrity and commitment to the customer
  • Composed, resourceful, and focused in high-growth and ambiguous environments
  • Comfortable with significant travel within your East Coast territory to build relationships and close business face to face
  • Adaptive, accountable, and execution-oriented
  • A precise communicator and persuasive negotiator who knows how to close
  • Proud of your work and always aiming for excellence

Measures of success

  • Within your first month you have completed onboarding and connected with your team members and functional peers
  • Within your third month you are actively building a pipeline of net new business in your assigned East Coast territory
  • Within your sixth month you have a solid foundation of prospective clients and are driving opportunities toward close
