About the Role
As a Senior Account Executive focusing on the US NorthEast maritime market, you will play a key role in accelerating Kpler’s growth by hunting new logos and delivering our disruptive technology solutions. You will take full ownership of end-to-end sales execution, driving proactive prospecting to establish strong relationships with executive decision-makers. By connecting maritime leaders with market-leading data and intelligence, you will directly influence how global trade operates in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the full sales cycle from initial outbound prospecting and product demonstrations to final deal execution across the NorthEastern United States.
- Generate 70%+ of your sales pipeline independently through multi-channel outbound outreach, maintaining a high volume of meaningful daily touches.
- Establish multi-threaded relationships across complex buying committees, engaging directly with VP and C-level economic decision-makers.
- Utilize structured sales frameworks (e.g., MEDDPICC) to qualify opportunities, unearth strategic business value, and build accurate forecasts with 90%+ commit precision.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Operations, Marketing, Product, and Market Analysis teams to execute strategic account wins.
- Consistently meet and exceed annual quota expectations while maintaining strong CRM hygiene and sales discipline.
Experience & Background
What you'll need (Must-haves):
- 3+ years of experience in new business SaaS sales with a strong, verifiable track record of meeting or exceeding quota targets.
- Proven experience self-sourcing at least 50% of your sales pipeline through targeted outbound prospecting.
- Demonstrated success closing $30K–$150K+ ARR deals involving multi-stakeholder buying committees and C-suite economic buyers.
- Hands-on expertise with MEDDPICC or a similar structured sales qualification methodology.
- Nice-to-haves:
- Prior domain exposure or sales experience within the maritime, commodities, energy, or data/analytics industries.
- Experience managing mid-market or enterprise sales cycles in fast-paced technology environments.
