Job description

This role delivers technical architecture and consulting expertise to enterprise customers and prospects, allowing them to maximize their investment in Microsoft cloud technology. The ideal candidates will have experience leading projects in a customer-facing consulting role and proven success in implementing and supporting Microsoft 365 solutions. While this role is focused on Microsoft 365, some work with Azure may be required depending on project needs.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead M365 consulting projects, working directly with client stakeholders to align business needs to technology solutions.
  • Participate in pre-sales for M365 projects, including requirements gathering, client presentations, and estimates.
  • Create solution architectures, migration plans, and executive presentations on M365 Modern Workplace solutions.
  • Perform hands-on implementation work as part of consulting projects.
  • Provide project leadership to other team members, being responsible for the overall success and delivery of the solution.
  • Interface directly with client IT, business, and executive teams, providing guidance and support throughout projects.
  • Lead architecture reviews, governance boards, and design discussions with senior client stakeholders.
  • Occasional escalation support for managed services clients or other project teams
  • 7+ years of experience in customer-facing, IT consulting roles in M365
  • 2+ years of experience in Azure. While this role is more focused on M365, a moderate level of Azure knowledge and experience is expected.
  • Experience with creating client-facing deliverables, including solution architectures, project documentation, and/or root cause analysis documents.
  • Experience in migrating enterprise-size clients to Microsoft 365 solutions, including evaluating and planning for end-user impact and approaches.
  • Some experience with secure, enterprise-scale Azure environments, with a focus on infrastructure, aligned to the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
  • Ability to evaluate and modernize legacy infrastructure for cloud migration (rehost, replatform, refactor patterns)
  • Deep expertise with the M365 suite including but not limited to Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive for Business, and related services.
  • Hands-on experience with implementation or management of Entra ID (Azure AD), including MFA, Conditional Access Policies, and hybrid identity solutions (via Entra Connect sync)
  • Experience with Microsoft Security tools including but not limited to the Microsoft Defender Suite, Cloud App Security, Information Protection, Entra ID Identity Protection is a plus.
  • Understanding of Microsoft Governance and Compliance tools like Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Priva, DLP policies, etc.
  • Occasional travel to client sites for pre-sales and project work is expected.

Base Salary Pay Range*: $150,000.00 - $180,000.00 USD
