Role Overview
The Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) role adds hands-on technical design, configuration, and development, complex problem resolution, guidance and support for junior team members, code and documentation reviews, and use of modern principles, methodologies, and tools to advance financial operations and dispute management initiatives. Lead Pega CSSA with strong technical implementation skills, framework customization experience, and team collaboration.
Creates and leads the technical design, configuration, and implementation of Pega-based payment solutions, specifically leveraging Pega Smart Investigate for Payments (PSI). Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex banking operational needs. Prepares technical and procedural documentation required. Facilitates complex problem resolution within application data structures, integrations, and case workflows. Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues. Reviews coding, testing, and documentation of software. Applies modern principles, methodologies and tools to advance payment processing capabilities and system performance.
Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized banking solutions.
Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support the companies Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

- 8+ Years of overall IT experience with 5+ years specializing in Pega design and development, preferably in a large banking / financial institution environment focusing on payment exception processing.
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification
- Pega Smart Investigate for Payments (PSI) framework configuration and support
- Constellation Experience
- Object-Oriented Programming and Pega Guardrails
- Data Pages, Activities, Flows, and Case Management design
- API and Service Integration (REST/SOAP/MQ)
