This is an opportunity for a strategic and hands-on HR professional to shape people strategies within a dynamic Product Development organization. As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you will connect business priorities with practical people initiatives that strengthen organizational effectiveness, support sustainable growth, and enable high-performing teams. You will influence critical decisions involving organizational design, workforce planning, leadership development, talent management, and organizational change. Working closely with cross-functional People teams, you will use employee feedback, business context, and people analytics to identify challenges and deliver impactful solutions. The role calls for a thoughtful, commercially minded partner who combines sound judgment with empathy and a commitment to inclusive, accountable workplace cultures. This fully flexible, remote opportunity is available to candidates based in California, Oregon, or Washington.

Accountabilities

  • Partner with senior Product Development leaders to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business objectives, organizational health, and long-term growth.
  • Advise leaders on organizational design, workforce planning, talent strategy, team effectiveness, and change management across a distributed product organization.
  • Analyze people data, business performance indicators, and employee feedback to identify emerging trends, diagnose root causes, and recommend actionable solutions.
  • Lead complex talent discussions, including performance management, succession planning, employee relations, leadership development, and employee growth planning.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, People Operations, Learning & Development, Employee Relations, and Legal to deliver consistent, scalable, and effective people solutions.
  • Coach leaders in building inclusive and accountable team environments where employees understand priorities, receive meaningful feedback, and have the support needed to perform at their best.
  • Guide organizational and workforce changes through clear communication, effective stakeholder management, and a strong focus on employee experience.
  • Strengthen and continuously improve People Partner practices, processes, and operating rhythms to enhance the effectiveness of the Product Development People Team.
  • Use people insights and business context to influence leadership decisions, measure the impact of initiatives, and connect talent strategies to measurable organizational outcomes.
  • Apply approved AI-enabled tools thoughtfully to improve efficiency and insight while exercising independent judgment and safeguarding confidential employee and business information.
  • Requirements

    • At least 8 years of progressive HR Business Partner, People Partner, or equivalent strategic HR experience.
    • A minimum of 3 years partnering directly with director- and VP-level leaders in a technology, SaaS, or similarly fast-paced business environment.
    • Experience supporting organizations of 300 or more employees through periods of growth, organizational change, or business transformation.
    • Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, talent reviews, performance management, employee relations, and broader talent management initiatives.
    • Experience supporting Product, Engineering, Design, Data, or other technical teams, with an understanding of product development environments and their talent needs.
    • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect people and organizational decisions to business priorities and outcomes.
    • Proven ability to manage sensitive employee relations matters, performance concerns, and leadership challenges with discretion, sound judgment, and empathy.
    • Confidence using qualitative and quantitative people insights to identify patterns, influence stakeholders, communicate recommendations clearly, and evaluate impact.
    • Excellent relationship-building, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative, direct, and empathetic approach.
    • Ability to work effectively in an AI-enabled environment, responsibly using approved tools, validating outputs, recognizing limitations, and following privacy and data-security requirements.
    • Preferred qualifications

      • Experience supporting Product Development organizations, including Engineering, Product Management, Product Design, Data, or AI-focused teams.

      • Experience working in global, distributed organizations and navigating multiple employment jurisdictions.
      • Background leading enterprise-wide people programs or scaling HR practices during significant organizational change.
      • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
      • Benefits

        • Annual base salary: $157,000–$235,000 USD, depending on relevant experience, job-related capabilities, work location, and other applicable factors.
        • Additional compensation: Potential eligibility for bonuses and other incentives beyond base salary.
        • Remote flexibility: Fully flexible remote work arrangement for eligible candidates based in California, Oregon, or Washington.
        • Strategic impact: Opportunity to influence organizational strategy, leadership effectiveness, and talent development within a Product Development organization.
        • Cross-functional collaboration: Work alongside senior leaders and specialist People teams to shape scalable people practices and support business transformation.
        • Inclusive work environment: Contribute to a culture focused on employee experience, diversity, inclusion, accountability, and professional growth.
