Job description

The Senior Program Manager (SPM) supports the Division CMO in the running of the Office of the DCMO with an aim of achieving the Quadruple Aim.

SPM supports in areas of clinical strategy, quality improvement initiatives, care coordination endeavors, medical staff alignment, operational and emergency implementation and ongoing management of key programmatic improvement and standardization initiatives.

Program initiatives assigned cover a broad spectrum to include: quality assessment and improvement; financial performance; patient care progression efforts and throughput optimization; timely care with superior experience for caregivers, patients and physicians, variation reduction in patient care delivery; and physician alignment and engagement. Administers the process of analyzing requirements and makes recommendations and facilitates system and process change as needed. Assures analysis and management of the total needs of the assigned programs/projects and sustainment of prioritized goals for the division.

This position is responsible for leading complex programs/projects to include the creation and oversight of project timeliness, building leader accountability and plans in partnership with the team, including directors, clinical nurse leaders, physicians, data analysts, executive assistant, and other key stakeholders.

At the senior level, this program manager additionally supports larger system initiatives outside of service line as identified and prioritized by division leaders.

Required

qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree and
  • Master's Degree in Health Administration or Business Administration or equivalent education/experience
  • 7 years of progressive responsibility preferably in a health care setting.

Preferred

qualifications

  • Coursework/Training: Lean, Six Sigma training.
  • Management Professional (PMP) Certification upon hire
