Position

Summary

The team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in MuleSoft, Talend, Java, Cloud, Integration, Automation, and AI-enabled solutions to support critical Claims, Provider Operations, and Data Conversion functions. This role will drive application development, production support, system integrations, modernization initiatives, and AI-powered operational efficiencies. The ideal candidate will combine strong software engineering skills with healthcare and provider domain knowledge to maintain production stability, fulfill regulatory and client commitments, drive automation, and foster continuous improvement through modern engineering and AI technologies.

Primary

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, implement, and support enterprise applications using Mule, Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices architecture
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools and frameworks to streamline workflows, automate business tasks, and drive continuous improvement across claims and provider operations
  • Develop and maintain MuleSoft integrations, REST APIs, SOAP services, and middleware components supporting enterprise business processes
  • Design and support Talend ETL and data conversion solutions to facilitate data migration, transformation, validation, and reconciliation activities
  • Build, deploy, and maintain cloud-native applications and services utilizing Azure Cloud technologies
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions, agentic workflows, and automation tools to address complex business challenges with emphasis on responsible use of AI
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and drive continuous improvement
  • Evaluate emerging technology trends to inform solution design and strategic modernization initiatives
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions to ensure high system resiliency in a 24x7 environment
  • Develop operational dashboards, monitoring solutions, automated reporting, and proactive alerting capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and business partners) to deliver reliable, scalable, and secure solutions

Required

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of equivalent software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of software development experience using Java and Spring Boot
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with the MuleSoft integration platform
  • 3+ years of experience with Microservices architecture, REST APIs, SOAP services, and enterprise system integrations
  • 3+ years of experience with Talend ETL, data conversion, data migration, or data integration solutions
  • 2+ years of experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL
  • 2+ years of experience in Provider Management and Claim processing

Preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of the Salesforce platform, integration and development
  • Experience supporting business-critical applications in a 24x7 production environment under strict SLAs
  • Strong incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis capabilities
  • Experience with Python scripting, machine learning solutions, or AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot)
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, and operational reporting tools
  • Familiarity with CI/CD automation pipelines and DevOps practices
  • Working knowledge of Azure Cloud services and UNIX/Linux Shell scripting

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
