Job description

Our mission is to democratize accessible, high-quality healthcare for women. We end the fragmented, exhausting work each woman faces when coordinating her own care.

We bring relief for her urgent needs, ongoing support for her lifestage and chronic conditions, and expert guidance together in one place, on her terms.

We're her health partner through every phase and transition, building the trust and continuity that means she never has to re-explain herself to feel understood.

Please note: This is a deadline-based posting. Applications will be accepted for 14 days from the posting date of October 8, 2026, and the posting will close on October 22, 2026 (11:59 PM PT). Applications submitted after this date will not be considered, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team of Full-Stack Engineers in building products that empower our patients. This role spans our product and engineering organizations, and will regularly influence and inform priorities across the company. You love mentorship and are excited to collaborate with fellow engineers to develop and implement architectural and technical standards. You bring a product-based mindset and are equally excited to impact our patients’ lives as you are to build software.

What You’ll Do

  • Build For Our Patients: Keep patients at the center of technical decisions while advocating for privacy, security, and access to care. Connect technical work to patient outcomes through thoughtful implementation.
  • Technical Execution: Contribute to architectural decisions and implement technical standards through code reviews, design discussions, and high-quality code. Balance speed with building reliable, well-structured, extensible solutions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders on complex projects. Communicate technical concepts clearly and identify potential risks proactively.
  • Mentorship & Growth: Serve as a technical resource and example for other engineers on the team. Share knowledge through clear documentation and thoughtful code reviews. Provide guidance when needed and help maintain quality standards across engineering deliverables.
  • Technical Leadership: Identify improvement opportunities within your team’s scope and contribute to technical discussions that shape project direction.

This Role Could Be A Good Fit For You If…

Required

  • You have 4+ years of Full-Stack Engineering experience, or equivalent depth gained through other paths.
  • You have proven experience with a modern backend language/framework (e.g. Python, Flask, Django) — we’re happy to consider engineers who are deep in a comparable stack (Node, Ruby, Go, etc.) and can ramp quickly.
  • You have proven experience using AI dev tools.
  • You have proven experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
  • You have professional experience working in a cloud-based environment — AWS (preferred), GCP, or Azure.
  • You bring a collaborative approach that empowers other engineers on the team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with sensitive data (such as protected health information) or in a regulated environment.
  • AI product-feature experience (chatbots, product recommendations, etc.).

Our Stack

Tech stack: Python/Flask, React, NextJS

Tools we use: Claude, Notion

What We Bring To You

  • A fully remote environment, including a monthly Wi-Fi allowance to support our remote-first environment.
  • $500 Work Better Stipend so you can have the optimal work-from-home set-up.
  • DeskPass membership to empower you to work where you thrive best and connect with other team members across the U.S. and Canada.
  • Uncapped Time Off to recharge—and we track to ensure employees are taking at least 20 days off per year.
  • Talkspace membership to provide you with immediate mental healthcare access and guidance.
  • Our $1,000/year Learning Stipend to enable your professional growth and development.
  • 100% monthly premium coverage for Health, Vision, and Dental insurance for you and your dependents.
  • 3% 401(k) match, dollar for dollar, that vests your first day (read: no waiting period).

Please note: This is a deadline-based posting. Applications will be accepted for 14 days from the posting date; the posting will close on October 23, 2026 (11:59 PM PT). Applications submitted after this date will not be considered, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
