Our Business
We are seeking a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to lead full-cycle recruitment efforts across our growing Water business. This individual will serve as a strategic talent advisor, partnering closely with business leaders to attract, engage, and hire top engineering, scientific, technical, and operational talent nationwide.
This Opportunity
As a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant, you will drive recruiting strategies for a complex technical portfolio within WSP's Water Solutions practice. You will partner with hiring managers, business leaders, and HR stakeholders to understand workforce needs, develop proactive talent pipelines, and deliver exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
Success in this role requires strong consultative skills, deep recruiting expertise, market intelligence, and the ability to identify talent across highly specialized disciplines including:
- Drinking Water Engineering
- Wastewater Engineering
- Stormwater Management
- Water Resources Engineering
- Hydrogeology
- Asset Management
- Environmental and Water Infrastructure Planning
- Program and Project Management
Your Impact
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for professional, technical, and leadership positions across the Water Solutions business.
- Conduct discovery and intake meetings with hiring managers to develop recruiting strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Build and execute proactive sourcing strategies utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter, talent mapping, industry networking, referrals, and other sourcing channels.
- Develop diverse candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Screen and assess candidates against technical qualifications, leadership competencies, and organizational fit.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers throughout the selection process.
- Coordinate and facilitate interview processes while ensuring a best-in-class candidate experience.
- Provide market intelligence including talent availability, compensation trends, competitive insights, and hiring recommendations.
- Consult on recruitment process improvements and hiring best practices.
- Partner with Human Resources on workforce planning, succession planning, and strategic hiring initiatives.
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition data within WSP's recruiting systems.
- Support employer branding, talent marketing, and industry engagement efforts focused on Water Solutions talent.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or related field.
- 5-7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably supporting engineering, environmental consulting, infrastructure, architecture, construction, or technical professional services organizations.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting for highly specialized technical disciplines.
- Strong sourcing expertise utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other direct sourcing methodologies.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders and hiring managers on strategic talent acquisition initiatives.
- Knowledge of recruiting compliance, employment practices, and candidate engagement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent searches.
- Experience using applicant tracking systems and talent acquisition technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for water, environmental, civil engineering, or infrastructure consulting organizations.
- Knowledge of Water industry talent markets and professional organizations.
- Experience supporting leadership and critical talent searches.
- Professional certification such as SHRM, AIRS, CIR, or related recruiting credentials.
- Experience utilizing talent market intelligence and workforce planning tools.

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $ 60,500.00 - $ 120,000.00
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and may offer additional benefits and compensation, depending on circumstances and the type of work being performed not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
