What You'll Do

As a Mobile Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the mobile service department and help ensure our team delivers quality work and excellent customer service.

  • Oversee all mobile service functions and daily shop operations.
  • Delegate and direct service assignments and technician workload.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Coach and develop employees to help them achieve individual and team goals.
  • Serve as a key resource for service, inventory, and product knowledge
  • Manage and update work orders and invoices to ensure accurate, timely billing.
  • Perform quality checks on completed work and verify invoice accuracy
  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors, dealers, and subcontractors.
  • Monitor employee performance, productivity, and progress.
  • Provide feedback and direction to improve employee satisfaction and efficiency.
  • Help train new employees on company procedures and expectations.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Stay current on industry standards and best practices.
  • Manage department P&L and understand financial performance.
  • Monitor and calculate productivity to help drive department results.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience leading or managing a service operation.
  • Heavy-duty truck, trailer, fleet, or mobile service experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of work orders, invoicing, and service operations.
  • Ability to manage a P&L and monitor productivity.
  • Comfortable coaching employees and holding teams accountable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality.
