Job description

You will design, deploy, and maintain low-latency backend services for remote-assistance sessions and real-time vehicle data. You will build cloud infrastructure, persistence layers, and data pipelines; optimize transmission; and ensure platform security, reliability, and resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable, low-latency backend services for remote-assistance session management and real-time data streaming.
  • Architect and implement cloud infrastructure across multiple AWS regions using protobuf and gRPC.
  • Design and implement service data persistence using NoSQL databases such as Redis.
  • Implement pipelines to ingest, process, and store real-time autonomous-vehicle data.
  • Collaborate with onboard software and frontend engineers to ensure end-to-end data flow.
  • Ensure backend security, reliability, resilience, failover, and network-disruption handling.
  • Optimize server-side data serialization and transmission for latency and bandwidth.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience in web services software development and cloud infrastructure.
