Software Engineer Ori

You will build and ship product experiences across the Ori CLI and its harness integrations. You will develop secure agent runtimes, model-switching capabilities, cloud agent deployment, and reliable developer workflows. You will improve installation, authentication, observability, evaluations, APIs, and SDKs based on product needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship the Ori CLI and harness integrations
• Implement model switching, provider fallbacks, tool settings, prompt settings, and organizational guardrails
• Build sandboxed agent runtimes, secrets management, session management, compaction, and reusable agent skills
• Deploy, fork, and shut down cloud agents with version-controlled and auditable state
• Own installation, authentication, CLI user experience, reliability, observability, and evaluations
• Feed product gaps into API and SDK improvements

Requirements

• 5+ years of production software delivery experience
• Experience owning developer tools, CLI products, agent products, or related infrastructure
• Fluency with coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Pi, or Hermes
• Knowledge of tool calling, context management, prompt caching, evaluations, and model tradeoffs
• Knowledge of sandboxing, process isolation, secrets management, and reliability
• Product knowledge for developer tools
