This position requires specialized knowledge in high-revenue payment systems and onshore print facility operations. Supporting business-hour production triage, the Software Engineer works directly with operational teams to deliver robust toolsets for client onboarding, database conversions, and API onboarding. The role involves designing and maintaining object-oriented enterprise applications in Python and C#, supporting Oracle, SQL Server, and SQLite database environments, and building deployment scripts, CI/CD workflows, Docker containerization solutions, Grafana-supported monitoring tools, and automated unit testing. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to participate in solution design using class and sequence diagrams, peer reviews, and technical documentation. Additionally, you will build and deploy innovative AI-powered tools and automations to streamline workflows and drive operational excellence. Real-time communication, coordination, and print floor troubleshooting are essential to delivering impact in this role.

Primary

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, maintain, and deploy object-oriented enterprise applications using Python and C# within Oracle, SQL Server, and SQLite database environments
  • Build, optimize, and maintain automated deployment scripts, CI/CD pipelines, Docker containerized solutions, and unit test automation
  • Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions and automated tools to address business challenges, streamline workflows, client onboarding, database conversions, and API onboarding
  • Leverage enterprise-approved AI tools and modern technologies to automate operational tasks and drive continuous improvement
  • Provide business-hour production triage and floor support, collaborating directly with onshore print facility and operational teams for real-time troubleshooting and communication
  • Create technical documentation and solution design artifacts, including class and sequence diagrams, while actively participating in peer code reviews
  • Mentor less experienced engineers and lead technical demonstrations for cross-functional stakeholders
  • Evaluate emerging technical trends to inform solution architecture and strategic platform innovations

Required

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience working with Oracle database environments
  • 3+ years of experience working with SQL Server database environments
  • 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, OCI, or Azure)
  • 2+ years of software development experience using Python
  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD workflows, version control (e.g., GitHub), automated testing, and deployment processes
  • 2+ years of experience with API testing and documentation tools (e.g., SOAPUI, Postman, Swagger)

Preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with C# enterprise application development
  • Knowledge of payment and print systems, including healthcare payment formats (e.g., 835 claim payment/advice)
  • Experience supporting onshore print facility operations and real-time production troubleshooting
  • Experience with Grafana platform integration, server installation, and batch job management
  • Experience building, customizing, or deploying enterprise AI automation solutions or intelligent tools
  • Experience working within Agile development methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring team members and presenting technical demonstrations

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $72,800 to $130,000 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
