Special Events Coordinator NF-04

This position is located at Fort Bliss MWR Business Operating Division Building. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Serves as the lead Special Events Coordinator and Production Manager for Army Entertainment, delivers programs at the Installation and garrison level as well as provides and supports Major Command events.

Responsible for the planning and executing of community special events that respond to the needs and interests of the military/civilian population including 4th of July, Oktoberfest, and Easter-avaganza.

Submits a cost analysis of special events prior to implementation and after each event. Continuously evaluates the effectiveness of ongoing activities and coordinates events with Marketing/Commercial Sponsorship, and supervisor.

Ensures equipment is properly maintained, transported, setup, and disassembled using OSHA and fire regulations. Establishes SOP’s for all Special Events. Performs other duties as assigned.
