This role serves as the primary point of contact for influencer relationships and initiatives, responsible for building and scaling strategic partnerships with social creators. The Senior Manager, Influencer Relations will drive the tactical execution of creator campaigns that maximize brand awareness and product relevance across digital and social platforms. This position requires hands-on campaign management, rigorous process optimization, and exceptional communication skills within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and deeply familiar with the creator landscape, daily execution workflows, and contract administration. A genuine passion for social media, visionary strategy with operational rigor, creator culture, and the beauty industry is essential, along with a strong fluency in day-to-day beauty content, trends, and key talent across platforms and anticipating market shifts and translating data-driven insights into category-defining activations.
What You’ll Do:
- Campaign Execution & Management: Develop and managed brand influencer partnerships, events. Lead the day-to-day execution and project management of brand influencer partnerships, events, and always-on campaigns from brief to post-campaign reporting.
- Creator Strategy Implementation: Execute a multi-tiered, cross-platform creator strategy to drive daily awareness, engagement, and earned content generation.
- Agency & Partner Coordination: Act as the primary operational contact for agency partners, facilitating daily workflows and supporting agreement tracking.
- Contract Administration & Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations and development for paid influencer partnerships, including individual campaigns, photo shoots, and experiential activations.
- Initiative Optimization: Drive the day-to-day optimization of influencer initiatives to maximize performance across new product launches and core franchises (organic and paid).
- Briefing & Contracting Oversight: Oversee hands-on creator contracting, talent vetting, and creative briefing for always-on creator programs.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams on a daily basis to fulfill partnership requests, content needs, and cross-channel support.
- Network Tracking & Reporting: Manage influencer network growth, performance tracking, data aggregation, and regular campaign reporting.
- Integrated Communications Support: Collaborate directly with PR and social teams to align activation schedules and support cohesive, cross-channel communication plans. Work cross-functionally with internal teams to support all relevant initiatives, partnership requests & content needs.
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of progressive experience in marketing, PR, and/or digital media, with a strong focus on hands-on influencer operations.
- Minimum 4+ years of dedicated, direct experience managing digital influencer marketing campaigns and creator networks in-house or at an agency.
- Proven track record of independently leading complex influencer campaigns from brief development and contract negotiation through flawless execution and performance reporting.
- Demonstrated experience managing, mentoring, and developing direct reports (people management experience required).
- Advanced negotiation skills with a proven history of successfully structuring and closing creator contracts, agency agreements, and activation scopes.
- Expert knowledge of the beauty industry, creator landscape, digital content trends, and emerging social platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with polished relationship-building capabilities across internal teams, agency partners, and talent.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and operationally rigorous with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule:
- Hybrid - requires onsite presence weekly at Benefit HQ 3x per week.
The target salary range for this position in California is $125,000 - $145,000 annually. The actual salary offered is based on market location and will depend on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, years of relevant experience; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. This position is eligible to earn an annual bonus.
