We’re actively seeking a talented Sr Platform Engineer II (Copilot & Copilot Studio) to join our BPM Enablement Platform team in Charlotte, NC or Newport Beach, CA. This role is hybrid as we believe in empowering our employees to get work done both in and out of the office.

As a Sr Platform Engineer II (Copilot & Copilot Studio), you will design, implement, and support enterprise AI, Copilot, and automation solutions across Pacific Life. This role combines platform engineering, Copilot Studio development, governance, and enablement responsibilities to accelerate responsible AI adoption while ensuring secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions. You will serve as a technical leader helping business and technology teams leverage Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, SharePoint Agents, and Power Platform capabilities to deliver measurable business value.

How You’ll Help Move Us Forward

  • Support the deployment, adoption, and optimization of Copilot Studio and Microsoft 365 Copilot capabilities across the enterprise.
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise agents, SharePoint agents, and departmental Copilot experiences.
  • Administer Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and AI environments, including DLP policies, environment strategy, connector governance, and platform health.
  • Design scalable AI and automation solutions using Power Platform, Dataverse, Azure services, Microsoft Graph, reusable components, and integrations.
  • Conduct solution architecture reviews and partner with security, compliance, and platform teams to ensure enterprise standards and responsible AI governance.
  • Provide technical leadership for agent implementations, prompt libraries, use-case development, CI/CD, and deployment automation.
  • Troubleshoot complex platform issues and provide escalation support for makers and business teams.
  • Partner with Microsoft, internal stakeholders, and business teams on requirements, solution strategy, roadmap planning, intake, and prioritization.
  • Mentor citizen developers and junior engineers on development standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, implementation guides, and operational runbooks.

The Experience You Bring

  • 8+ years of software engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise application development experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 technologies.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API development.
  • Experience administering environments, security models, and governance controls.
  • Experience with Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint Online, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of AI/LLM solution architecture and prompt engineering concepts.
  • Experience supporting production enterprise platforms and troubleshooting complex issues.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience designing copilot agents with responsible AI considerations (e.g., safety boundaries, grounding, evaluation, and monitoring).
  • Microsoft certifications in Copilot Studio, Power Platform, or AI technologies.
  • Experience implementing enterprise standards/patterns and driving adoption across multiple teams/divisions.
  • Experience deploying enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 Copilot solutions.
  • Familiarity with insurance, financial services, or highly regulated environm

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$167,670.00 - $204,930.00
