Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $207000 - $300000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

- Set the technical goal and architectural roadmap for Android backup ecosystem integrations.
- Design and build client SDKs for original equipment manufacturer (OEM) backup integrations and evolve the backup engine to serve product needs.
- Optimize reliability, battery, memory, and network usage under strict Android OS constraints.
- Co-design robust client-server synchronization and partner cross-functionally to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Foster engineering excellence through code and architecture reviews, scaling best practices, and mentorship.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- 5 years of experience with Android application development.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
- Experience designing client SDKs, developer libraries, or modular platforms integrated by third-party or original equipment manufacturer (OEM) partner applications.
