- In a student employee capacity, may perform or assist with functions around marketing trends, communications outreach, creative design and production (print and digital)
Job Description:
Assist the marketing and PR operations of Baylor University Press by taking on various projects, including writing press releases, newsletters, social media posts, and catalog copy, managing an email account, designing flyers, and communicating with authors.
Baylor University Press publishes academic books in religious studies by professors from around the world. We market our books globally, and student positions in the press have the opportunity to contribute to an exciting industry, gaining real world experience in publishing.
May serve as initial contact for in-person guests or callers; provide excellent customer service
May create creative content or maintain department website(s)
May assist with special projects and initiatives supporting departmental goals
May assist with planning or coordination of events
May assist with identifying areas of improvement and recommend solutions
May assist with maintaining internal databases and records
May assist with developing processes and procedures
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
