Job description
Location: Fredericktown, MO
Schedule: Full - Time, Non - Exempt, 8:00am - 6:30pm, Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week. Must be available to work any four days, Monday through Friday
Pay: $16.42 - $18.82/hour depending on experience
Summary
Responsible for covering reception functions; scheduling for clinicians; screening clients through phone calls and/or walk in contact; assisting with admission; annual update process; required to manage or assist in processing or maintenance of the electronic health record.
Job Duties:
- Greet all clients and visitors; direct to correct area if necessary.
- Schedule and cancel appointments for all office clinicians and medical providers.
- Answer all incoming calls and direct to correct department/staff.
- Make daily appointment reminder calls to clients and/or to reschedule if necessary.
- Communicate with other external sources as needed.
- Screen clients and document communication for clinical staff.
- Enter client demographic data into EMR when there are changes.
- Initiate and/or complete the admission process and complete annual updates in EMR.
- Collect client payments and document in system.
- Process mail and manage postage.
- Manage space allocations for meetings.
- Support Staff floater will travel to all locations as coverage needs present; will be cross trained in all receptionists, medical records and admission clerk positions for all locations.
- Maintain client medical records in accordance with all laws, regulations, policies, and HIPAA.
- Work as a team member with other support staff to ensure timely completion of all tasks.
- Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and any other federal or state program per agency standards.
