Overview

The Systems Integration Engineer will be a key member of the Hypori Managed Services team, delivering secure, mission-ready integration and Tier 3 support for Hypori infrastructure. This role requires a mix of systems engineering expertise, hands-on integration, and customer-facing collaboration with enterprise stakeholders. The engineer will ensure seamless delivery of Hypori’s secure virtual mobile infrastructure, maintaining compliance with strict security standards while driving uptime, performance, and customer satisfaction.

To ensure success in this role, you must have advanced knowledge of computer software and hardware systems, excellent diagnostic skills, high-level communication skills, and a solid understanding of Android, Azure, and AWS (Amazon Web Services) platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Gold Support through a combination of on-site and remote Tier 3 engineering and solutions architecture.
  • Install, integrate, and maintain F5 TLS Proxy solutions in coordination with client’s F5 support team.
  • Perform OS and Nutanix installation, patching, upgrades, and network configuration.
  • Manage and maintain Hypori Halo server infrastructure, including capacity planning and hardware lifecycle (installation, decommission, sanitization, shipping).
  • Support PKI provisioning, certificate management, and integration with customer environments.
  • Generate and manage Hypori license keys for renewals.
  • Configure and maintain Hypori platform software, including templates, policies, and platform upgrades.
  • Perform platform health monitoring, respond to alerts, and ensure rapid incident resolution.
  • Review infrastructure specifications, perform readiness assessments, and support hardware/software purchasing recommendations.
  • Define, document, and execute disaster recovery plans with client support teams, including annual DR testing.
  • Collaborate on release and patch planning, including process definition, scheduling, and communications.
  • Conduct testing of new apps and versions for Hypori virtual devices; prepare and deliver release notes and supporting documentation.
  • Ensure audit trails, logging, and change management adherence across the Hypori environment.
  • Review, address, and resolve security vulnerabilities identified via penetration testing, ACAS scans, or client reporting.
  • Serve as a trusted technical point of contact for client’s stakeholders, ensuring clear communication, reporting, and escalation management.
  • Provide periodic operational reviews, status reports, and policy updates to client and Hypori leadership.

Qualifications

  • Active Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible).
  • 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or enterprise IT infrastructure support.
  • Strong knowledge of TLS/PKI provisioning, certificate management, and secure infrastructure integration.
  • Experience supporting enterprise-class server hardware and decommission/lifecycle processes.
  • Familiarity with network engineering concepts and F5 TLS Proxy or comparable load-balancing/security solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and experience managing Tier 3 escalations.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and customer-facing skills.
  • Active CompTIA Security+ certification.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience supporting DoD, Combatant Commands (COCOMs), Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), or federal government customers in high-security environments.
  • Prior experience with SaaS technical delivery
  • Experienced engineering on the Android platform.
  • Hands-on Linux experience.
  • Cloud engineering and/or DevOps experience
  • Kubernetes orchestration and/or management.
  • Experience with Nutanix, virtualization platforms, and OS deployment.
  • Expertise in secure infrastructure deployments (e.g., CSfC environments).
  • Prior experience with Nutanix AHV, VMware, or other hypervisors.
  • Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, or vendor-specific like F5, Nutanix).

Hypori's customers, particularly those in highly regulated industries like defense, government, healthcare, and financial services, face the significant challenge of enabling their workforce to be productive on mobile devices without compromising sensitive data or personal privacy. Traditional Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) programs often introduce security vulnerabilities, data leakage risks, and privacy concerns for end-users, as company data resides directly on personal devices. This creates a complex balancing act between providing seamless access to enterprise applications and data, and adhering to stringent security and compliance mandates such as DoD CC SRG, FedRAMP High, NIAP Common Criteria, NSA CSfC, CMMC, and HIPAA. Our customers need a solution that allows their employees and contractors to use their preferred personal mobile devices for work tasks, thereby increasing user adoption and convenience, while simultaneously ensuring that no enterprise data is stored, processed, or transmitted on the end-user's device. This is why Hypori developed its innovative mobile access platform. Our solution provides secure virtual access to enterprise apps and data from any mobile device, guaranteeing total personal privacy for the user. Instead of data residing on the physical device, Hypori streams a separate, 100% private, virtual workspace to the user's phone or tablet. This means no enterprise information is ever stored on the personal device, effectively reducing the attack surface and mitigating potential organizational liability. Our zero-trust architecture ensures that even if a personal device is compromised, corporate data remains secure within the enterprise's control. Hypori empowers organizations to implement robust BYOD programs, simplify device management, enhance user adoption by addressing privacy concerns, and meet the highest security certifications. We enable easy onboarding at scale, allowing warfighters, civilians, contractors, and employees in various regulated sectors to access critical apps and sensitive data securely from their personal devices, ensuring productivity without compromising security or privacy – truly offering one device with zero worries.
