The Role:

  • This role willl lead accounting activities that support accurate financial recordkeeping, reporting, compliance, and informed business decisions.
  • Maintain financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP, organizational standards, and applicable Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.
  • Prepares financial-performance reports and completes month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

What You Will Do:

  • Maintaining records of organization's financial activity in accordance with GAAP, organizational standards, and in compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
  • Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
  • Completing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, including but not limited to: the preparation of financing portfolio analyses and disclosures, intercompany reporting deliverables, review of accounting for non-standard transactions, and development of supporting audit workpapers for such activities.
  • Support junior accounting professionals by sharing technical knowledge, reviewing work, and contributing to their professional development.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • CPA certification or progress toward CPA.
  • Public accounting experience or large corporate accounting experience.
  • Experience supporting consolidated financial reporting.
  • Experience with technical accounting interpretation and implementation.
  • Exposure to lease accounting & financing transactions.
  • Experience working with complex or non-standard business transactions and determining appropriate accounting treatment.
  • Experience supporting financial statement audits and regulatory reporting.
  • Advanced ERP system experience.

Compensation &

Benefits

Summary Pay Range: $118,860.00 - $190,176.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance, and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
